Review: Evie Blender

Hi everyone! Remember when I tested out a Silicone Sponge called The MakeupDrop? Today, I will be sharing with you another silicone sponge I recently discovered, but this time, it is shaped like a Beauty Blender aka an Egg shape. There is even an indentation where you should place your finger while blending your makeup out. The product I am talking about is called the Evie Blender. It even has sparkles placed inside the blender, and if you know me well, you would know that I am OBSESSED with anything glittery or sparkly.

*I would like to thank the Evie Blender team for kindly sending over a blender, a compact mirror, and a sticker for me to share on my blog. They are a great team to work with and respond back to emails in a timely matter.*

Now on with the review!

-The blender I received in the mail is their Stardust Blender. The blender is clear with silver sparkles that almost looks holographic to me. This is $25 dollars and an actual Beauty Blender is $5 cheaper, but this is a way better option for your wallet. With an actual Beauty Blender, you have to replace those every few months, but for a blender that is just $5 more, this lasts you 4x LONGER because it will not soak up any product and will as good as new after washing with soap and water. This sponge is made of "hypoallergenic platinum grade silicone" (Evie Blender's website). The compact mirror that the blender came with is small enough to put in your bag if you want to touch up your makeup on the go. Also, the mirror is helpful to see where you missed a spot to blend or if it looks patchy and need to go in and blend some more.

-When you feel the blender, it feels almost bouncy or squishy. When you blend in your makeup, it almost feels hard and stiff. However, this does not bother me as long as it gets the job done and looks flawless, which it does!!!! Evie Blender states that you should swipe the product across your face with the blender then pat to get a flawless look. I tried this technique, and boy does my face look good! I use the foundation and concealer which I always use in all my beauty posts, and it looks exactly like a beauty blender would, just a better option if you dislike replacing your Beauty Blenders like me and want one that is unique and made out of silicone/glitter.

-This blender does take slightly longer to blend in than my other blenders, but if you have the time for it, go for it, you will not regret it. This is Mia approved because it looks great on the skin and easy to blend product in around my nose and under the eye area.

Overall, this is an awesome product once again and super easy to clean. Also, it looks super cute on your vanity ready for you to use the next day.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
