Review: Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation

Hi everyone! I recently received another box from Influenster! If you don't know what Influenster is, click here to learn more and get a look into my second box from them. I am so excited to share this review because I have been wanting to try Make Up For Ever for the longest time, but it is on the higher end, $43 for this foundation that contains 30 mL. The foundation I was sent was the Ultra HD Foundation by Make Up For Ever. The cool thing about this foundation is that they have a range of 40 shades to choose from, so you will for sure find your shade! For reference, I received shades R210 Pink Alabaster for my foundation shade and Y445 Praline and Y505 Cognac for contouring and to make your foundation darker if needed. These shades are all Ultra HD Foundation, but they sent me darker shades as well for contouring and mix-in reasons.

Without further delay, lets get onto the foundation!

-When I received shade R210, I could tell it would be a little light for my skin tone and is a shade for concealing and highlighting. But, with bronzer, contour, and blush on, It matched my skin 100%. I am loving how this foundation has a pump for easy application and blends out like a dream. I thought that my all time favorite foundation Maybelline Matte + Poreless was the best, but when I tried this foundation out, it blew me away! Apparently my Maybelline foundation is a bit cakey on the skin and I didn't realize that until the Make Up Forever was so smooth and flawless, so much better than the Maybelline one! However, the Maybelline one is a good drugstore option. Back to the Ultra HD Foundation, the darker shades I used for contour worked amazingly. My nose looked slimmer, face looked smaller, and my cheekbones more defined. Both foundations worked under other products and worked well with my holy grail primer and moisturizer. Powder went over the foundations perfectly and I honestly had no problems with the foundations. All my friends including my friend, Makayla, who I know will read this, thought it looked great on. It almost looks and feels like I have nothing on my skin! This foundation is AMAZING!

(Sorry it was out of focus, I was trying a new setting).

Overall, yes, I do highly recommend this foundation to those who are wanting to try out a foundation that looks great on and feels like there is nothing on the skin. It was smooth feeling and did not look cakey nor patchy.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
